Tuesday Free NBA Bet: Golden State Warriors @ New York Knicks (-5.5 | O/U: 221.5)

Situationally, this is an excellent time to continue to back the Knicks. New York is the hottest team in the NBA, having won and covered in seven straight games. Too, the advanced metrics backup their current streak. Over their past five games, the Knicks rank second in Net Rating and first in defense. 

Additionally, the Warriors have been terrible on the road (4-13 ATS), and the team does not match up particularly well with New York. The Knicks crush opponents on the boards (3rd in the NBA in OREB%), and with Second Chance Points (2nd in the NBA). Conversely, the Warriors are particularly inefficient at limiting opponents on the glass, ranking 18th this season in Defensive Rebound Rate. This is a huge edge for the Knicks, and a crucial reason to back this team tonight. 

Further, Golden State is far from full strength. The team remains absent Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins, and will be without both of their primary backups in the rotation this game (Donte DiVincenzo, JaMychal Green). Kerr will be forced deep into his bench Tuesday night, and the team overly reliant on their stars. 

Resist the urge to bet on the Warriors tonight in Madison Square Garden, and back the Knicks to keep things rolling. I would bet the Knicks to -7.
